Grade Center 101: The Essentials

Are you new to WebCampus? Do you need some help navigating the Grade Center? Look no further…Grade Center 101: The Essentials will give you the foundation to successfully navigate and manage grade columns within the Grade Center.
After completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Access and navigate around the Grade Center
  • Create, edit, hide, sort, and reorder gradable and calculated columns

Course Level: Novice
Prerequisites: None
Course Type: Hands-on, computers provided
Course Time: 45 minutes, additional time after class for instructor specific instruction on a first-come, first-served basis


Grade Center 201: Advanced Column Management

Are you comfortable navigating the Grade Center and managing columns? Would you like to organize grade columns using categories or grading periods? Do you want to assign letter grades instead of points or percentages? Grade Center 201: Advanced Column Management will give you the knowledge to manage grades using advanced functions.
After completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Create, assign, and modify categories, grading periods, and grading schemas
  • Create grading rubrics
  • Color code the Grade Center
  • Create and edit Smart Views

Course Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Grade Center 101: Managing Grades OR proficiency with navigation and column management in the Grade Center
Course Type: Hands-on, computers provided
Course Time: 45 minutes, additional time after class for instructor specific instruction on a first-come, first-served basis


Grade Center 202: Managing Grades

Are you comfortable navigating the Grade Center and managing columns? Need some help entering, updating, and exempting grades? Do you want a report to show you an individual student’s or your entire classes’ grades? Grade Center 202: Managing Grades will provide the necessary information about entering grades and viewing grade reports.
After completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Manually enter, modify, and exempt grades
  • Reset a test or assignment attempt
  • View grade history
  • Run Grade Center reports

Course Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Grade Center 101: The Essentials OR proficiency with navigation and column management in the Grade Center
Course Type: Hands-on, computers provided
